Overview
Pescap Uganda is a Christian based non–profit making
organisation,
registered with the Ugandan Government in accordance with the
provisions of the Registration Act. The organisation was
registered during November 2003 and is listed with the
identifier of 141534 within the index of registration.
Our organization started, to fill the gap in our nation as
far as standards of living are concerned.
The whole organization is entitled to cover the whole Uganda
but since we are still establishing, we are actively
participating in central Uganda and our General and co-ordinating
offices are currently at our orphanage school premises on
the Kampala–Mityana road at 9km a long that road in Nakabugo
Zone.
PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
As a Christian based non- profit making organization these
are:
Objectives
▪ Christian missionary work
▪ Care for the HIV/AIDS victims
▪ Care for the widows
and Elderly people
▪ Care for the Disabled
and those with chronicle disease
▪ General welfare to
the community.
Beneficiaries
▪ Orphans
▪ HIV/AIDS victims
▪ Disable and those
with chronicle diseases.
▪ Widows and elderly
▪ Community in and
around the project
In order to fulfill the above
goals and activities, four strategies must be put in place
on a thirty acres land.
Strategies as projects /Activities:
▪ Orphanage school
▪ Establishing sewing
to the widows.
▪ Agriculture (Farming
and animal husbandry)
▪ Establishment of a
church.
These four projects is to
promote the general welfare to the:
▪ Orphans
▪ HIV/AIDS Victims
▪ Elderly and widows
▪ Education to orphans
▪ Employment
opportunities to the community.
We hope that, by the year
2007, at least 200 job opportunities will have been created
in the farming, education and processing sectors and after a
period of three years from today, some projects, like Animal
husbandry, farming and sewing to the widows, will gain
support to be income-generating components to the project to
continue finance the project activities on a self –
sustainable basis.
Since our program is a community Based, we do not have too
much restrictions to the people of this nation therefore
apart from the children who are cared as out- patients and
those in the category of widows and elderly, we have over
250 children in our orphanage school where a quarter of this
number have been diagnosed HIV/AIDS positive but still we’re
taking testing to scrutinize and to come out with exact
testing figure but for now that’s the stand.
Our Calendar of programmes in the implementation of these
activities, I have attached the budget below but since we’re
still establishing as I have explained earlier, we have got
some achievements, which we have reached so far.
